SIGN UP TO BE A STUDENT VOLUNTEER

 We are excited to announce our partnership with Malcolm X College, where students are making a significant impact and playing a vital role in supporting cancer patients through their volunteer efforts. These dedicated students collect essential items and assemble care bags to bring comfort to those battling cancer.  In addition to assembling these vital care packages, the students also organize a special event designed to uplift and inspire those battling cancer. 

This partnership offers profound benefits for both the students and the community. For students, it provides valuable hands-on experience in community service and event organization, fostering a sense of purpose and leadership skills. Engaging in these activities also enriches their personal and professional growth, making a tangible difference in the lives of others while building their own resumes and networks. For the community, the initiative delivers crucial support and comfort to cancer patients, offering them hope and relief during challenging times. By bridging the gap between education and community service, we strengthen the ties within our local area, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Students who complete the volunteer program are eligible. Our collaboration goes beyond community service. We are thrilled to announce the addition of scholarships to Malcolm X College students, supporting their educational pursuits and reinforcing our shared commitment to both learning and giving. It is a pleasure to partner with Malcolm X College to make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and students alike. The following scholarships are reserved for MALCOLM X COLLEGE STUDENTS who volunteer at both the October 11th Breast Cancer Benefit and the Care Bag Assembly on December 6th:

REQUIREMENTS:

1. SIGN UP TO BE A STUDENT VOLUNTEER 
2. Submit scholarship application(s) using links below
3. Volunteer at the Breast Cancer Benefit at Malcolm X College on October 11th, 4pm
4. Volunteer at the Patient Care Bag Assembly at Malcolm X College on December 6th, 10am

*Student must be present to receive scholarship
